A Story of Loss
& Lasting Love

Anaya Jothi Charitable Trust was established on May 19, 2011 in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. The trust was founded by S. Annain Anaya Jothi following a deeply personal tragedy — the untimely passing of her sister at the age of 36, who left behind two young children.

That grief became the seed of something enduring. Moved by the vulnerability of those left behind — especially children and women — the founder channelled her sorrow into service, building an organisation dedicated to those who need it most.

"My sister passed away at the age of 36, leaving two children alone. That inspires me to start a charity trust."

Today, the trust serves hundreds of families across Chennai through feeding programs, education assistance, skill development, career guidance, and mental health counseling — all rooted in the belief that giving back is our highest duty.
