Simple. Transparent. For Life.

From your phone to a growing palm in five minutes.

You choose a tree. We pair it with a guardian family. They send you monthly photos. The palm grows. The family earns. Tamil Nadu is restored. That's it.

The 1mp.space Model

The Idea

One million palm trees restored across Tamil Nadu — each one tended by a village family earning verified monthly income. Not a one-time drive. A lifelong guardianship.

Most tree-planting drives work like this: you donate, a photograph is taken on planting day, and the story ends. Nobody checks whether the sapling survived its first summer. Nobody tracks whether it was grazed over, drowned out, or simply forgotten. The donation receipt is the last thing you ever hear.

The 1mp.space guardianship model was built to end that story. We understood that a tree only lives if a person cares about it — and a person only cares about a tree if they have a reason to. So we created the reason: a guardian family that earns monthly income because your tree is alive, growing, and verified.

This is not a donation receipt. This is a relationship. Between you — an urban donor who wants to do something real — and a family in a Tamil Nadu village who wakes up each morning and checks on your palm because their livelihood depends on its health. The tree connects you. The tree sustains them. And the tree, once rooted, will outlast you both.

That is what makes 1mp.space different. Not the technology. Not the GPS. Not even the 96.2% survival rate, which is among the highest in the sector. What makes it different is that someone, somewhere in Tamil Nadu, knows your tree by name.

Why this model works where others fail

Aligned incentives Guardian income is tied directly to tree survival. No survival, no income. No income, no guardian. The system is self-reinforcing.
Monthly verification GPS-stamped photos arrive every thirty days. Not annual reports. Not statistics. Actual photographs of your actual tree, from your actual guardian.
Community ownership Guardian families have skin in the game. The tree belongs to the land they live on. They protect it the way they protect anything that sustains their family.
Native species only No exotic ornamentals. Every tree is a species that evolved here, adapted to local soil and rainfall, and belonged to this land long before we arrived.

Simple by Design

Four Steps to Your Palm

From choosing your tree to receiving your first photo update, the entire process is built to be clear, fast, and completely transparent.

1
Choose your tree and species
Visit 1mp.space and browse thirteen native Tamil Nadu species — from the ancient Palmyra to the sacred Banyan. Filter by district, species, or tier. Select your tree, choose your adoption level, and complete your donation. The whole thing takes under two minutes. You'll receive confirmation immediately.

2
Your adoption is GPS-tagged
The tree is planted — or an existing sapling is formally adopted — at a verified location in Tamil Nadu. Its exact GPS coordinates are locked to your name in our system. You can see which district, which village, which plot of earth holds your palm. This is not symbolic. This is a real location on a real map, and it belongs to you.
3
A guardian family is assigned
A verified guardian family in the village nearest your tree is assigned to care for it. They earn between ₹500 and ₹2,000 per month to tend, photograph, and report on your palm. You receive their profile — their name, their village, their photograph. They know your name too. That is the relationship.
4
Monthly photo reports. Forever.
Every thirty days, your guardian photographs your tree with a GPS-stamped image and submits it through the 1mp.space verification system. You receive that photo. You watch your palm grow — from a sapling in its first summer to a canopy in its twentieth year. No annual reports. No averages. Just your tree, your guardian, every month.

Economic Empowerment

The Guardian System

Environmental restoration and rural income generation are not separate goals. In the 1mp.space guardian model, they are the same thing. A thriving tree means a thriving guardian. There is no other way it works.

🌱
Tier 1
Sapling Volunteer
50 pts / event

The entry point to the guardian network. Sapling Volunteers participate in planting events, learn proper tree care technique, and submit photographic reports after each session. Points accumulate towards Guardian status. This tier is open to anyone — students, retirees, families — who want to contribute a weekend to Tamil Nadu's restoration.

Responsibilities: Plant · Photograph · Report
🌴
Tier 2
Palm Guardian
₹500–2,000 / mo

The backbone of the system. Palm Guardians adopt a grove of trees in their village and commit to monthly verification. They submit GPS-stamped photos, report any threats (grazing, drought, disease), and maintain the tree's health year-round. Their monthly income is tied directly to the survival and verified growth of the trees in their care. This is a real job — and for many guardian families, it is a life-changing one.

Responsibilities: Adopt grove · Verify monthly · Report health
🏕️
Tier 3
Grove Captain
₹6,000 / mo + bonus

Grove Captains lead a cluster of ten or more Palm Guardians across a localised area. They are responsible for quality assurance — ensuring that monthly reports are accurate, that guardians are properly trained, and that any tree loss triggers immediate replanting protocol. They also act as the human connection between the digital 1mp.space platform and the on-the-ground reality of each grove. Performance bonuses reward captains whose clusters maintain the highest survival rates.

Responsibilities: Lead 10+ guardians · Quality assurance · Replanting coordination
🗺️
Tier 4
Regional Steward
₹25,000+ / mo

Regional Stewards oversee district-level operations — managing multiple Grove Captains, coordinating with local government and forest department offices, and ensuring that the 1mp.space mission is represented authentically in their district. These are senior roles for experienced conservationists and community leaders who want to make ecological restoration their full-time vocation. At this level, the guardian system becomes a career — not just income, but professional identity.

Responsibilities: District oversight · Stakeholder management · Operations leadership

The 1mp.space guardian system paid out ₹2.4 lakh to guardian families last month alone — income earned not through charity, but through the verified, dignified work of caring for Tamil Nadu's land. See our full transparency report →

Questions Answered

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know before you adopt. If your question isn't here, reach out to us directly.

How do I know my tree is real?
Every tree in the 1mp.space system is GPS-tagged at the time of planting. Your adoption confirmation includes the exact coordinates of your tree's location — district, village, and plot. From the following month onward, you receive a GPS-stamped photograph from your guardian family, taken on their mobile device and verified by our platform. The timestamp, coordinates, and guardian ID are embedded in every image. You can verify the location against any mapping application. There is no way to fake this — and no need to. Your tree is real, it is rooted, and it is yours.
Is my donation tax-deductible?
Yes. Anaya Jothi Charitable Trust is registered under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act. All donations to the 1mp.space initiative through the trust are eligible for tax deduction. Your 80G certificate is issued digitally within 7 working days of your donation and can be used when filing your income tax return for the relevant financial year. If you have any difficulty with your certificate, contact us at trust@anayajothicharitabletrust.com.
Can I donate from outside India?
Yes. We warmly welcome contributions from the Tamil diaspora and from international donors who care about South Asian environmental restoration. Please contact us directly at trust@anayajothicharitabletrust.com or call +91 72007 89275 for NRI transfer instructions (NRE/NRO account details) and international wire transfer information. FCRA compliance is maintained for all overseas contributions. We will handle the paperwork — you plant the tree.
What happens if my tree doesn't survive?
Our 96.2% survival rate is among the highest in India's native species restoration sector, achieved through careful species selection, local guardian accountability, and monthly verification. But nature is not perfect, and we do not pretend otherwise. If your tree does not survive for any reason — extreme weather, pest damage, or any other cause — it will be replanted at no extra cost to you. You will be notified immediately when the loss is reported, and your new tree's GPS coordinates will be confirmed within the following planting cycle. Your guardianship never ends.
Can I sponsor a whole village?
Yes. The "Adopt a Village" package plants 1,000 native palms across a single village, powers five guardian families with stable monthly income, and delivers the largest social reach guarantee in the programme — up to 1 crore across all channels. The package is priced at ₹4,99,999 and includes a dedicated Grove Captain, a village-level adoption ceremony, and a full transparency report on the village's progress every quarter. It is ideal for corporate CSR programmes, family foundations, and individuals who want their legacy to be unmistakably rooted in Tamil Nadu. Contact us to discuss your village adoption.
"The most radical act of environmental restoration is not a government policy or a corporate pledge. It is one person choosing to be responsible for one tree — and meaning it."
